We Who March: Photographs and Reflections on the Women’s March, January 21, 2017 is a photo book conceived and edited by Ellen Feldman, with contributions by thirty photographers and comments by twenty marchers.
Preface by Ellen Feldman. Introduction by Susan M. Reverby, Emerita Professor of Women’s and Gender Studies, Wellesley College.
We Who March is a book of fine art photography in which equal attention is paid to political message and artistic expression, with celebration seeping through the tone of defiance.
In this book, the political is very personal: outrage is broadcast through hand-made signs and physical gesture and expression.
In her introduction, Susan M. Reverby brings to bear a deep understanding of the history of women's protests in American life, and presents within that context a powerful description of what the 2016 election has meant to us and why we must act.
The We Who March book is 8 x 9.5-inch, with a soft cover, 164 pages, and full color. It includes 123 photographs and twenty marcher commentaries.
